DVD movie review - WICKER PARK

~~~
All my DVD Movie Reviews are positive. That's because I only review movies I have enjoyed watching on DVD.
Mathew is not sure why he lost his true love and has a couple affairs of the heart while trying to get her back. To get into any kind of detail about this 2004 story line would only serve to create way too many spoilers. It's that kind of film. If the ole "twists and turns" style is your thing, then you're in for a treat. For more about the cast and crew, click here. If you follow my recommendation to rent this one, be prepared to go on an exciting and pleasurable trip through time and space and back again...several times. All this is accomplished by flashbacks and split screens. Director Paul McGuigan does a great job of playing with time and with the audience's mind. Josh Hartnett is the perfect protagonist and makes the nearly impossible seem real. And isn't that the job of an actor and his or her director?
There is a raft of great actors here and each will capture your imagination as you try to solve the ongoing mystery. I'm going to have to let it go at that. As previously mentioned, to tell more would spoil the journey and certainly the finish line. I feel certain you're going to love this one. Let me know in the comments below. I am really looking forward to your views on this well planned trip though an incredible time-bending love story.
